I will dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
